Últimamente está cogiendo un especial protagonismo en decoración algo a lo que en el pasado no se le prestaba mucha atención, las patas de sillones y camas.
Pero ahora fijaos, ahí tenéis las imágenes de “Pretty pegs”, que son las tres primeras que os he puesto, que es una empresa dedicada íntegramente a ofrecer diferentes modelos de patas para sofás y camas.
Y esta empresa a su vez, ha servido de inspiración al blog “Morning by Foley” para crear de forma artesanal sus propios diseños de patas. Tiene más imágenes en su blog, pasaos si queréis verlas.
Me alegra ver que los elementos con los que contamos a la hora de decorar no se van agotando, sino que se renuevan continuamente.
Lately is becoming more prominent something that in the past wasn´t very important for us, the legs of sofas and beds.
But now take a look, here you are the “Pretty Pegs” pictures, that are three first ones that I show you, which is a company entirely devoted to offer different models of legs for sofa and beds.

I´m glad to see we aren´t running out of new elements to decorate, on the contrary, they renew all the time.
Si algún día os pasáis por Seattle, podréis visitar “Assemble”, que es uno de estos espacios multidisciplinares donde podéis encontrar galería de arte, estudio de diseño a la vez que tienda y talleres de todo tipo, bordado, estampación, encuadernación de libros y muchos más. Así que me sobran los motivos para añadirla a mi lista de tiendas por visitar.
“Assemble” is located in Seattle. It´s an art gallery, studio and store and besides it makes crafty workshops. For all that reason I have no choice but include it in my list of places to visit.

Hace ya mucho tiempo que me apetecía hacer este post. “Very Wood” son Isa, Silvia y Pili, tres restauradoras granadinas que hacen maravillas con cualquier trocito de madera que cae en sus manos. Aprovechando que tenían stand en el Cocorocó Saturday Crafter les hicimos estas fotos, estas y mil más, porque nos encantó su stand.
Yo soy muy fan de todo lo que hacen, todo es muy artesanal y son unas verdaderas máquinas trabajando la madera. Que os voy a decir yo, que tengo todos los modelos de colgantes y anillos que han hecho. Así que yo creo que a esta nueva marca le espera un futuro muy prometedor y que de aquí en adelante oiremos hablar muy a menudo de Very Wood.
I wanted to do this post for a long time.“Very Wood” are Isa, Silvia y Pili, three restorers from Granada who are able to do amazing things with every piece of wood that fall into their hands. So I took advantage that they were in Cocorocó Saturday Crafter to take these pictures and thousands else because their stand was beautiful.
I´m a great fan of all what they make, everything is handcrafted, they are like machines working with wood. But what can I say, I have all their rings and necklaces models. So, I think this newborn firm has a very promising future and from now on, we´ll hear about them very often.
Como ya os había anunciado la semana pasada, el sábado se celebró, la que espero que sea, primera de muchas ediciones del “Cocorocó Saturady Crafter“. En primer lugar, enhorabuena a “Cocorocó”, a “Artesanio” y a Mel de “Gallimelma” por haber montado esta feria crafter sin precedentes en Granada.
Cocorocó es un espacio de coworking que ha abierto sus puertas en enero y desde entonces tenía ganas de pasarme a verlo. El espacio es precioso y lo han decorado con mucho gusto, además está situado en el centro de Granada. Así que si sois trabajadores independientes y buscáis un sitio donde desarrollar vuestro trabajo os lo recomiendo, pasaos que os va a encantar.
Así que, buen comienzo para el Cocorocó Saturady Crafter porque el sitio era perfecto y estuvimos muy cómodos con un montón de gente super apañá con la que compartimos el día. Entre ellos, todos los artistas que había en los diferentes stands: Very Wood, Zazú y sus cosas, Colindante, Cerámicas Micazuki, Siete Musas, Los mundos de Fifí, Desorden, NM Designs, Farah Hasanat, Pepa Ruso, Mal de Amores y Kárabo.
El evento tuvo una gran aceptación y pasó por allí muchísima gente, hubo talleres durante todo el día en los que se agotaron las plazas rápidamente.
Así que, como veis, la primera edición del Cocorocó Saturday Crafter fue todo un éxito.
Last Saturday held, what I hope that be the first of lot of editions of the crafter event “Cocorocó Saturday Crafter”. Firstly, congratulations to “Cocorocó”, “Artesanio” and Mel from “Gallimelma” for organize this unprecedented event in Granada.
Cocorocó ia a coworking space that opened on January and since then I want to drop by to take a look. The space is beautiful and they have decorated it very tastefully, besided it is located in the center of Granada. So if you are an independent worker and you´re looking for a place where to develop your work, I recommend you to go and have a look, you´ll love it.
So, this was a great beginning to the event because the place was perfect and we were very comfortable surrounded by a lot of nice people with who we share the day. Like all the artist who was in the different stands:Very Wood, Zazú y sus cosas, Colindante, Cerámicas Micazuki, Siete Musas, Los mundos de Fifí, Desorden, NM Designs, Farah Hasanat, Pepa Ruso, Mal de Amores y Kárabo.
A lot of people were there on Saturday, there were workshops all the day where the places were sold out very soon.
So, as you can see, the first “Cocorocó Saturday Crafter” edition was a success.
“El Jardín Rojo”, estará el próximo sábado en el primer “Cocorocó Saturday Crafter” en Granada allí tendremos un stand con nuestros “Llorones”. Si conocéis nuestros productos ya sabéis que no están hechos a mano, pero aun así vamos a participar, seremos un poco la excepción en ese sentido.
Os pongo a continuación la información que nos han pasado sobre el evento, yo creo que va a estar muy bien, podréis encontrar seguro cosas bonitas y hay talleres durante todo el día. Espero veros por allí.
Gracias a Cocorocó, una empresa de coworking única en Granada y con muchas ganas de apoyar a los nuevos emprendedores, y a Artesanio, el portal on line para comprar y vender cosas hechas a mano, el próximo sábado 21 de Abril de 10 a 22 horas queremos ofrecer a todo el público la oportunidad de poder conocer a crafters de distintas modalidades, realizar sencillos talleres, asistir a charlas, comprar cosas únicas y hechas a mano y pasar un sábado diferente. Todo esto tendrá lugar en las instalaciones de Cocorocó (C/Tejeiro 19, Granada).
“El Jardín Rojo” will be next Saturday in the event “Cocorocó Saturday Crafter” in Granada (Spain), so we´ll had a stand with our “Cry Babies”. If you have seen before our products, you know they aren´t handmade, even so, we are going to take part in this. In that sense we´ll be the exception.
I´ll show you next, the information the event organizer gave us, I think it will be gorgeous, you´ll be able to find nice things and there is different workshops all the day. I hope see you there.
Thanks to “Cocorocó”, a coworking company unique in Granada and very interested in supporting the new enterprisings, and to “Artesanio”, an online site where you can buy and sell handmade. Next Saturday from 10:00 to 22:00 we want to offer the chance of knowing different kind of crafter, take part in workshops, attend to lectures, to buy unique things and spend a different Saturday. Me ha gustado mucho este apartamento, rápidamente se le asocia a la estética nórdica, suelos de madera, paredes blancas y mucha luz, lo cual siempre es un buen comienzo. Pero además tiene un montón de puntos positivos, mucho mueble vintage y color por todas partes. No voy a decir que sea mi casa ideal, porque tiene detalles muy personales y probablemente yo hubiera elegido otros, pero desde luego es un espacio precioso y con mucha personalidad.
I love this apartment, you can easily recognize the Nordic style, wooden floors, white walls and very bright, which is always a good beginning. But this one, besides has lot of positive points, vintage furniture and color everywhere. I won´t tell this is my perfect home because it has personal details that maybe I wouldn´t have chosen, but of course this is a beautiful space with a strong personality.

Estas etiquetas que habéis visto, las podéis comprar en la tienda alemana Da-Wanda. Desde luego yo no he hecho una confitura ni nada parecido en mi vida, pero si la hiciera, la adornaría con una tela de cuadros o de flores y le plantaría una etiqueta de este tipo, que por supuesto no pienso que sea muy necesario comprar. Creo que son fáciles para que os las hagáis vosotras mismas. Igual yo me hago unos cuantos frascos de estos, que quedarían muy bonitos en mis estantes, aunque los rellenaré con mermelada del supermercado, claro está.
You can buy these labels in the German online shop Da-wanda. I´ve never in my life made jam, but if I did I would decorate it with a striped or flowers fabric and I would put a label like these, the truth is I don´t think you need to buy them, they look easy to do by yourself. Maybe I´ll do some bottle like this they´ll look good in my shelfs although I´ll have to fill them with jam from the supermarket.
