Videos COOL para empresas De CALIDAD… o al revés! Este es el eslogan de “DOSDEVIDEO” o lo que es lo mismo, Simone y Luca, dos hermanos, que desde Barcelona, realizan videos para diferentes empresas. Como me ha gustado mucho su trabajo, he pensado en enseñaros uno de sus videos, que además creo que es de una temática que probablemente os interese. Se trata de un taller de “SelfPackaging” en el que varias blogger decoran diferentes cajitas de esta marca, en el video vais a ver de quien se trata, las conocéis a todas seguro.

As I think they do a great work, I´ve chosen one of their videos to show you, and I think you´ll like the matter. Esta es una animación de promoción de la tienda online Papermash, si lo habéis visto ya, os hacéis una idea del tipo de productos que tienen. La mayoría de ellos artesanales y creados por diferentes diseñadores. Me parece una forma estupenda de promocionarse.

This is a motion to promote the online shop Papermash, if you have already seen it, you’ll have an idea of what kind of products they have. Most of them are handcrafted and made by different designers. I think it´s a gorgeous way of promotion.

Sinfonía en rojo / Simphony in red

Esta animación, ha sido realizada por el estudio alemán Sehsucht para la filarmónica de Westfalia, la música es una maravilla y está muy bien acompañada de las imágenes, que se han desarrollado con un software de fluidos. Después de la animación os he puesto unas imágenes del mismo tipo, preciosas también, que pertenecen a un proyecto del diseñador e ilustrador italiano Alberto Seveso. Este tipo de imágenes me resultan muy atrayentes y un poco hipnóticas. Os recomiendo que os toméis un pequeño descanso y las disfrutéis.

This motion has been produced by the German studio Sehsucht for the Westfalia Philharmonic, the music is beautiful and it´s very well accompanied by the pictures, which have been developed by a fluids software. After the animation I show you some pictures of the same style, wonderful too that belong to a project by the illustrator and designer Alberto Seveso. This kind of pictures is very attractive to me and a little bit hypnotic. I recommend you to take a little break and enjoy it.

El nacimiento de una revista / A magazine is born

Para los que como a mí, os encanten las revistas, este video os va a gustar y yo creo que a los demás también. Muestra en poco menos de dos minutos cómo se desarrolla una revista desde el instante cero, hasta que está en la calle y lo hace mientras suena la música del lago de los cisnes. No os lo podéis perder.

A estas alturas, ya sabréis todos que ha empezado el año del conejo en el calendario chino, y para celebrarlo Frater Films han hecho esta animación. Es muy cortita y con unas imágenes muy limpias, una mini obra maestra. No os la perdáis.

Algo diferente/ Something different

Hace tiempo que me apetece mostraros alguna cosita de una disciplina del diseño que me gusta y me interesa mucho, los títulos de crédito en cine.

Es la primera vez comparto unos créditos con vosotros, así que no tengo más remedio que empezar por nombrar una figura clave,  alguien que es en parte responsable de que los títulos de crédito sean hoy lo que son, el diseñador gráfico Saul Bass. Y concretamente os recomiendo algunos de sus trabajos más representativos (que todos conocéis), los títulos crédito de Psycho y los de Vértigo apoyados ambos, además, por la maravillosa música de Bernard Herrmann.

Pero los títulos con los que me gustaría iniciar esta especie de nueva sección son los pertenecientes a la película Sherlock Holmes dirigidos por Danny Yount. Tiene unas ilustraciones geniales y me encanta la música.

It’s some time ago since  I would like to show you something  of a design discipline that I like it and I´m interested in, film credits.

As it´s the first time that I will share film credits with you, I have no choice but to start naming a key figure, someone who is responsible of present reality  on film credits, the graphic designer Saul Bass. And specifically I recommend you some of his most representative works, Psycho and Vertigo credits, supported, moreover, by the wonderful Bernard Herrmann’s music.

But the credits that I would like to show you for opening this kind of new section, belong to Sherlock Holmes’ movie and they are directed by Danny Yount. It has amazing illustrations and I love the music.

La verdad es que siempre voy con prisas, rara vez me paro a ver algo como esto.  Pero os recomiendo que en este caso lo hagáis, aquí tenéis un video de una gran sensibilidad y gusto que demuestra cómo se pueden hacer grandes cosas con los elementos más sencillos.
